We record the browser type to monitor market penetration of various web browsers so we can better determine what Internet technologies we may utilize in the design of our pages. We use page referrer data–that is, information about the web page that pointed you to our page–to determine to what extent our page is referenced by other resources on the web. These data may be used to preserve the integrity of our computing resources.

We collect information from our eNews signup page that directly links to MailChimp. The information collected is entered into a secure database and is not shared with third parties other than MailChimp for eNews purposes only. Only an email address is required to sign up for eNews. Donor information is collected through the secure DonorSnap portal. This information is entered directly into the DonorSnap database with access by South Bend Heritage. Access to the data via the internet requires a Site Code, User ID, and Password. The Site Administrator for each organization controls who has access to the data, what data they can see, and how they can interact with the data. DonorSnap does not use or share any organization’s data. Only people with authorization from the Site Administrator can use the data.
