Martin Luther King Jr Celebration
MLK DAY CELEBRATION AT THE CENTURY CENTER HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO PRESIDENTS’ DAY, FEBRUARY 21.
After consulting with local health professionals, hospitals and key community members, we have decided hosting the celebration in person on January 17th is too much of a risk because of the continued increase in COVID positivity rates in our area.
All previously planned events that were to take place at Century Center on January 17th will now be held on February 21, 2022.
Sponsorships, breakfast tickets and vendor booths that have already been purchased or reserved will be honored for February 21st as will ads placed in the Celebration Book.
For more Information, call Gladys Muhammad at the Charles Martin Youth Center 574-280-7092 or email Jessica Kitchens at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will still hold several events on January 17th to honor the actual MLK Federal Holiday.
