Join us for the Red Ribbon March
The 25th Annual Red Ribbon March Against Drugs and Violence will take place on Friday, October 25th at 10:30 a.m. The March is a national initiative to educate children about the detrimental effects of drugs and violence. SBHF organized the first Red Ribbon March in South Bend in 1988. This year hundreds of participants will begin their march at Colfax Cultural Center, walking down Lincolnway West turning on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. and finishing the march at The Salvation Army Kroc Center. Through the years SBH has collaborated with many organizations to make the march a success. A key feature of the Red Ribbon March is the drumline which announces the marchers as they travel down Lincolnway. Please join us in promoting this great educational opportunity and celebration of kids “doing the right thing” in our community.
Volunteers are always needed. Please contact Gladys Muhammad at 574-280-7092 for more information.
