Centrally located near downtown, the Charles Martin Youth Center is a popular meeting place for social, business, government and neighborhood gatherings. The Charles Martin Youth Center is dedicated to the memory of Charles Martin, a prominent leader committed to building the lives of you in South Bend. The Center is home to the Augustus F. Hawkins Literacy Center, South Bend Friends Meeting, New Discoveries Preschool and RiverBend Math & Technology.
The Charles Martin Youth Center auditorium can be used for meetings, workshops, receptions and other events.

Built in 1898, the Colfax School now the Colfax Cultural Center is named after Schuyler Colfax and is the oldest remaining Victorian school house in South Bend.
The Center houses low-cost studios and galleries for artists, performance space for dancers and actors, workshop space , offices for several not-for-profit art-related businesses and social service agencies.
The Seifert and Paper Room Galleries are also open space available for workshops and meetings.
