The Augustus F. Hawkins Literacy Program is hosted at the Charles Martin Youth Center and open to students in grades 3-5. The program’s goal is to improve reading and reading comprehension for students that are struggling with literacy skills ultimately assisting students in achieving higher ISTEP scores. Student’s meet after school on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:30 – 5:30 p.m.
